Resolved Question: What is your favorite
You know that awesome drummer from Green Day? He's a random dude. And I wanted to see if anyone had a random quote they liked. He's said some insane stuff, and I'm bored.
Also, merry x-mas eve! Have a good one!

Resolved Question: How do I make my drums
Hi there. I just got my drums and was surprised to see that guides for drums online seem to be a little hard to find - I'm a guitar player and found more tips and stuff but maybe I haven't been looking properly. Most tuning guides get all complicated in the middle and the professionals that talk in forums make everything so confusing sometimes. I know it's best not to copy the sound of a pro-drummer but can you at least tell me what sound Tre Cool, from the 1987 band Green Day, makes? I want my toms and floor tom to sound like the ones in "Basket Case" and the floor tom in the song intro of the song "86". I have no idea what they sound like and what you call that type sound. If possible, beginner to pros, can you please tell me what sort of sound that is and how do I get that sound? Is it a result of a tighter resonant head or lower resonant head? Do I need to lower the pitch, do I need to heighten the pitch? Do I need to buy anything? I've tuned them all pretty well I think. I just want to get that sound. Anything for that sound! Thank you so much in advance! Thanks for that info, but is there any way of making it sound anything close to the sound he makes? I recommend listening or watching to the two songs I gave up there. Do I need to tune it in a certain way? What kind of sound do professional drummers call that? If I could get a name or some sort of way to call that sound, I'll then be able to go out and search how to make that sound instead of searching how to make Tre Cool's sound. Thanks!
