Resolved Question: Why does Tippi Hedren
The plot of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds takes place over several days.
Day 1: Tippi Hedren is in San Francisco wearing a coordinating monochromatic green suit with skirt, blouse, and jacket.
Day2: Tippi Hedren's on a boat with Mitch wearing the same thing when the gulls attack.
Day 3: Tippi Hedren's at her friend's house wearing the same thing when a bird flies into the door. She was about to go to bed and holds up a nightgown, but we never see her wear it.
Day 4: Tippi Hedren's wearing that same green suit at the children's party when the bird's attack and again at Mitch's mom's house when the bird's attack again by coming through the chimney. It's night time and after the attack is over, Tippi Hedren offers to put Mitch's frazzled mom to bed.
Day 5: Tippi Hedren's wearing the same green suit when she decides to take a walk to the school to meet her friend, which is when the birds gather outside on the monkey bars and the plot really takes off.
Now, there's some confusion about days because the first day is said to be Friday and the day she walks to the school seems to be Monday, maybe it's Tuesday. At any rate, she wears that same suits from Friday through at least Monday--and it's not because of crisis or anything because the whole bird thing hasn't really taken off yet.

Resolved Question: The Girl- Alfred
What did you think of the film "The Girl"? Mr.Hitchcock obviously isn't here to state his side of the story. Do you believe Tippi's version?
2- Which Hedren/Hitchcock film do you like more- The Birds or Marnie?
