Resolved Question: Timothy Dalton spotted at
Timothy Dalton has been spotted at elstree studios last thursday, is he joining Eastenders?

Resolved Question: Why does everyone not
I've noticed Timothy Dalton seems to be one of the less popular Bonds? I wondered why, because I quite like him. Sean Connery is a classic, Daniel Craig is good and I like Pierce Brosnan third, I didn't mind Timothy Dalton either but no one seems to like him. Why don't they like him?

Resolved Question: Is Daniel Craig paying
Dalton's bolshy Bond was much more faithful to the Bond of the books than Craig's cold knowing 'forgettableness'... "The prob is the mischaracterization of Bond"
Exactly! So many people drool over Sean "FREEDOM TO BE SHORTBREAD-SCOTTISH BUT DODGE TAX" Connery, but he wasn't the Bond of the books, whereas Dalton was. It's anti-80s snobbery at its worst.

Resolved Question: Was not Timothy Dalton
Stick with me here guys and gals. A friend and I were debating this tonight and I think that Dalton is actually one of the best Bonds.
His portrayal is far truer to the Bond Fleming envisioned (what he was derided for then is what Daniel Craig is lauded for now) and he brought a human edge to Bond (making him human rather than some untouchable force of nature).
I'm not saying he's the best but he was far better than Moore and Lazenby (which isn't difficult I admit) but he is on a par with Craig and Connery (who seem to be generally accepted as the best Bonds).
Please someone tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this : )

If you've ever read the Ian Fleming's books, you'd know that Timothy Dalton gave the most accurate performance of the character. Also, Ian Fleming's vision of James Bond's physical appearance was based on an actor named Hoagy Carmichael. Search him up on Google Images and you'll find out Dalton was the closest in terms of appearance. He should at least be considered one of the top three Bond actors. Oh wait, I forgot Craig. Dalton is the second most accurate after Daniel Craig.
