Private firm buys Waupaca 'Business asWAUPACA, Wisc. - ThyssenKrupp AG, a global materials and technology group based in Essen, Germany, announced today the sale of ThyssenKrupp Waupaca Inc., its U.S. foundry business, to an affiliate of KPS Capital Partners, LP (KPS), a New York-based private-equity firm.
