  Resolved Question: Backpacking around Italy,
I’m planning to backpack around four European countries for two months during the spring time. These are the cities I am planning to go to with the number of days per city inside the parentheses. I think there must be a strategic way to travel through these cities as I looked at a map and sought out how each city may lead to another city. Rome (7), Florence (5), Venice (3) Dresden (5), Berlin (7), Cologne (4) Paris (7), Bordeaux (5), Lourdes (2) Barcelona (7), Madrid (7) Anyway, I was wondering if there are alternative areas in Southern France I could go to that would eventually lead me to Lourdes and Barcelona? I’m not really familiar with that area so I just placed Bordeaux as a destination since it was suggested by someone. Another person also recommended Lyon. Furthermore, would you recommend for me to purchase a Eurail to travel between these cities? Or a mix of bus, airplane and train? If so, which point to point should I use a specific form of transportation? I know my question is loaded, but I hope someone would find a time to answer this. I have done my research and I know what will work but personal opinion matters to me as well. Thank you.

  Resolved Question: Cassis, Bandol, Sanary
My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to france in the summer, and as we aren't keen flyers we have decided to take the eurostar to paris and then the TGV to marseille/toulon as the surrounding villages and towns look beautiful! We need help deciding whether to go to Cassis, Bandol, Sanary sur Mer, e Lavandou, Hyeres etc. (the list goes on!) We are an active young couple (both age 20) who want to stay in a nice apartment/rental (ideally with a pool but if not near the beach!) and near to shops and restaurants. The place needs to have enough to keep us entertained for a week eg watersports/walks/boattrips/cycle hire nearby, and we are happy to be in a tourist-y spot rather than purely hostile locals (no offence meant but as our french is not brilliant we fear we may not be hugely popular). Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated, and I will award best answer! Many thanks! :)

Resolved Question: Places to stay near Nice
Hi, I am going to Nice in France in July and was wondering if anyone knew of places near to Nice that are nice but a bit cheaper for accomodation? I have looked at Antibes and Grasse, but they are quite expensive still. In know its in a very sort after coastal area in France but has anyone got any other suggestions? we dont mind going inland a bit and travelling to coast etc. we plan to travel around anyway. Thanks for you help in advance

Resolved Question: Traveling from city to
I am wanting to travel from Paris to some other cities around France such as Lyon, etc...I have heard the eurorail is a good way to go, but I am open to other ideas if that is not the best fit.
