Resolved Question: Why did the Beatles
The beatles always liked to claim that from the very beginning, Pete Best was nothing more than a temporary fill in drummer..................But Pete was a Beatle for 2 YEARS! so one can call that claim into question.
Once he was fired, the Beatles have since treated Pete Best as a taboo subject. Paul especially seems to get unpleasant when the subject of Pete Best comes up, according to an interview I saw on Youtube
They never kept a relationship going with Pete. They could have wrote letters, visited. Even today it appears that Paul and Ringo don't want to see him.
Isn't that sad. there are some interviews you can see on youtube of Pete Best having interviews in the 1980's. the one he had with David Letter, Pete said the reason he was fired was because the other members were Jealous of the fans liking him too much. I think this could be true.
Was Pete Best a Temporary Fill in Drummer or was it Jealousy?
How could the Beatles end the reationship to the point where, even today, Paul and Ringo don't even want to befriend Pete?
Why do Paul and Ringo continue to treat Pete as a taboo subject that they, especially Paul, get cranky and sensitive about.
