Resolved Question: Why did the archduke and
Archduke Otto, the last crown prince of Austria-Hungary married Princess Regina of Saxe-Meiningen, in 1951. The archduchess died in 2010.
At the archduke's funeral service in 2011, the casket of the deceased archduchess was placed next to that of the archduke.
Why did the archduke and archduchess have a joint lying-in-state, when the archduchess predeceased her husband?
