Conor Oberst Announces Desaparecidos, SoloDo call it a comeback. Conor Oberst 's old punk band Desaparecidos will solidify the reunion they kicked off this month with a U.S. mini-tour in August. Oberst will also play a string of solo dates in May and July. This activity follows the reissues of Bright Eyes ' Fevers and Mirrors and There Is No Beginning to the Story EP this week.

Watch: Conor Oberst's Reunited Punk BandFollowing yesterday's news that Bright Eyes ' Conor Oberst will reunite Desaparecidos , his early '00s punk/hardcore-tinged band, the Omaha World-Herald 's Rock Candy blog reports that the group played new songs last night at a secret show.
